How to Use the Toolkit

Start with the questionnaire. Agree the site scope and the business question before collecting data. Record each finding in the report template with an affected URL and a reproducible observation.

Prioritise confirmed problems using impact, confidence and implementation effort. Assign owners in the tracker. Mark a task verified only after checking the released change against its acceptance criteria.

The AuditWeb self-audit demonstrates this evidence-to-action approach. The completed report example page shows how a report-shaped handoff can be structured; you can also download the completed report example (.md). The free HTML checker supplies source-level observations for part of an audit.

What Can You Reuse?

You may edit, rebrand and redistribute the templates for personal or commercial work. Attribution to AuditWeb is appreciated but optional. Client data and credentials do not belong in a public version of a completed report.

Version: 5 September 2026. The files are blank working templates, not evidence of a completed client audit. The manual checklist page explains the PDF's 50 checks and scoring limits.
